When the owners of this woodsy Berkeley property were ready for an upgrade, they wisely engaged both an architect and landscape designer to ensure that the home and gardens were elegantly integrated. The result is a multigenerational property with a lush, whimsical garden which delights their young children while also providing beautiful views and comfortable areas to gather the whole family.

In the back garden, elegant French doors open to a hardwood deck, stairs and built-in container which wrap around and feature a beloved multi-trunk Maple in the back landscape. Angled stone walks flow sinuously between the home and cottage, while a burbling boulder fountain provides the perfect soundscape to sit and enjoy the dining and seating patios.
